Laurie was raised in Southern CA and relocated to Santa Clara in 2019. Laurie joined UOS as a Mentor. Laurie joins us with a rich background in Education and Business. Laurie studied Business at CA Coast College. She worked for 15 years for Century 21 as their Vice President and Liaison Chairperson for C21 and Easter Seals of Southern CA. Laurie had thirty years of education background . Her favorite job was a Business Developer for the LEUSD. While there she founded a work experience program in 2008. This built relations with community business allowing students with disabilities gain work experience and become permanent employees . In all she has done her passion has been promoting representation of all members in communities . Her greatest love is her four daughters, 23 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
