Mrs. Best was born in Provo, Utah and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Orem, and Cedar City, Utah. She moved to St. George, Utah in 2007, and now affectionately calls St. George her home.

Mrs. Best has taught school in the “brick and mortar” sector in Utah since graduating from Utah State University in 2004. She completed her Master's in Education from Southern Utah University in 2010 and went onto Western Governors University to earn her Administrative Endorsement in 2011.

Since 2004, she has been an active educator teaching in the Park City and Washington County School Districts before being named administrator for Utah Online High School in 2015.

She loves the opportunities UOS-HS offers to students state-wide and is excited to play an active role in preparing students to be successful.

She and her husband, Ryan, have 3 children 1 girl and 2 boys who they love very much. In Mrs. Best’s spare time, she enjoys doing crafts, camping, going to the pool, reading, spending time with her family, and following her favorite baseball team the Red Sox!
